Sixth Form Pathways
Here at Altrincham College, we believe that each student deserves the best opportunity to reach their full potential. Our outstanding teaching staff are able to provide relevant interesting and varied learning opportunities in preparation for higher education, apprenticeships and the world of work.
Curriculum on offer
On commencement of their studies in Year 12, students can embark on:
- A choice of three A Levels from a full range of subjects.
- A combination of A Levels and Vocational Extended Certificate (equivalent to one A Level).
- Core Maths (equivalent to an AS level), when combined with three other subjects.
A full list of all the subjects offered at Altrincham College Sixth Form can be found below, with additional information found within the Course Booklet and Prospectus. Our application form also clearly outlines the different pathways available to all students.
Students should choose a pathway consisting of three subjects. Certain pathways have been pre-populated with two subjects recommended for that industry and will require a third subject to be chosen. The ‘Open Pathway’ is open to students who choose a combination of different subjects.
