Coffee Afternoons
Our first Altrincham College Coffee Afternoon took place on Friday 14th June 2024.
Our aim is to hold a coffee afternoon for parents and carers once per term. The event is an informal opportunity to meet staff and other parents and carers, whilst enjoying refreshments at the school.
Altrincham College Coffee Afternoon
The Altrincham College coffee afternoon is open to all parents and carers. Whether your child is new to the school, or has been attending for some time, you are welcome to join us.
What's the aim of our Coffee Afternoons?
The aim is to create a sense of community and support parents and carers of pupils at the school.
- The group is an opportunity for parents and carers to meet with each other and feel supported. Parents have told us that it’s difficult to get to know each other when you don’t meet up after school to collect children.
- The group also provides an opportunity to network and share information about your local community, e.g. clubs, activities or any deals that are on offer.
- The coffee afternoons are organised by school staff, which also gives us the opportunity to share information that is available in school. We endeavour to discuss topics that are important to you.
- We aim to have guest speakers as well as organising social events, which are just a good chance to relax, chat and have fun!
So, why not come along to our Coffee Afternoon to share your experiences, learn new skills, and relax. Upon arrival, please sign in at our main school reception where you will be greeted by Mrs Hudson-Kirkham. The event will be held in the school library and coffee, tea, soft drinks, and snacks will be served.
