Lewis Hughes from Year 10 has been successful in his interview for Deputy Head Cadet with Trafford Volunteer Police Cadets.

As part of the role, Lewis was invited to Force Head Quarters  to swap roles with the Deputy Chief Constable for the day! During the day Lewis shadowed the Deputy Chief Constable at meetings and watched as he made important decisions.

Lewis said "It was great to meet so many different people and see the different roles within the organisation, we attended some really important meetings and got to hear all about the organisations development. This has been a really valuable experience".  

Lewis joined the cadets in 2014 and described how joining has built his self confidence.
